Construction Update

To ensure productive and safe work days at our work sites, it is important that we know in advance of your willingness to help. We no longer will be able to accommodate walk-on volunteers. Please be sure to contact the volunteer coordinator at the number listed below.
Town of Brewster
James Burr Road, Brewster (Youth United)
We are finishing all trim work and painting and will next install kitchen cabinets. Landscaping will start at all three homes at the site this week. Build days are Tuesday and Saturday. Volunteer Coordinator for Brewster Youth United build: Bonnie O'Neill – 508-833-2827 or ply24mp@aol.com. Ages: 16-25 generally; 14+15 for painting and landscaping.
James Burr Road, Brewster
We are finishing all trim work and painting and landscaping starts this week. Kitchen cabinets are also scheduled to be installed.
Work days are Tuesday and Saturday.

The decks, front and side, of all three houses are being installed and should be completed soon. Once the asphalt plant re-opens, the final grading and paving can begin. Estimated the end of April for this task
Town of Falmouth
Sam Turner Road – Falmouth
Floors are being installed in duplex #1 and painting is almost complete. Grading, paving and landscaping will start within the week. Note: As of Saturday, April 26th all work will be at Sam Turner Road, not Sippewissett Road, and will continue at Sam Turner for approximately the next month.
Sippewissett Road, Falmouth (Bank of America Sponsor)
Sippewissett Road is now tight to the weather and is awaiting contractor work.
All work as of Saturday, April 26th will be at Sam Turner Road for the next month or so.

James Burr Road, Brewster (Women Build):
A wildly successful “blitz week” has the Women Build home in Brewster in great shape! It is now tight to the weather and contractors are starting their work. Volunteer build days will start up again in approximately three weeks.

Women Build t-shirts are available for $15 from Kathy Kellogg, Project Manager, and at the build site.
