Come help us celebrate the building of 3 homes in Mashpee, including a Women Build house! Come meet the families, the staff and lead volunteers for Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod and find out how you can help us build these homes.

Fox Hill Road Registration Volunteers Training

Fox Hill Road build site, Mashpee

If you are interested in becoming a registration/welcome table volunteer for the Fox Hill Road site, please come to this one hour training that will walk you through the process and map out the layout of the registration area for each build day. Build days for Fox Hill Road are Tuesdays and Saturdays and you only need to work the days you can, you are not required to be there every build day. For direction please go to In Construction, Weekly Update and scroll down to see the map and directions. Please RSVP to Hilary Greene 508-775-3559 ext. 16 or hilary@habitatcapecod.org so we will have the correct amount of training materials there.

WOMEN BUILD Volunteer Orientation

Habitat office, 657 Route 28, West Yarmouth

If you are new to Habitat and want to learn more, please come to our monthly Volunteer Orientation. These take place on the 4th Thursday of every month (excluding November and December). You will learn more about Habitat for Humanity, the volunteer opportunities for both construction and non-construction, meet some of our homeowners via video and learn just what a typical Habitat construction volunteer day entails. We will focus on the upcoming Women Build project on Timberlane Drive in Mashpee for this session. Please RSVP by July 20 as space is limited. Women Build On-site Construction training

Fox Hill Road build site, Mashpee

Carolyn Kennedy, a veteran Habitat volunteer and Crew leader, will lead a seesion at a construction site to review the tools and some of the tasks that are part of a Habitat Build. This is a hands-on training and no previous knowledge is required! Come learn about what a Habitat build is all about and get a head start on your building skills for the Women Build project on Timberlane Drive in Mashpee which starts August 21.
