Youth United 2007 - 2008

Youth United is a project in which local young people (ages 5–25) sponsor and build a house in partnership with a family that is in critical need of a safe, decent, affordable place to live.

We will work together to :

  • Build a HOME!!
  • Increase public awareness about people living without adequate shelter!
  • Raise $50,000 for construction costs!
  • And show the community how we can all help!

Youth United is a program that empowers local youth (ages 5-25) to work together to sponsor and build a Habitat for Humanity house in their own community. Young volunteers are needed to perform a great variety of tasks from construction to fundraising to public relations. The Youth United program offers an excellent opportunity for young people to make a difference in their community, and demonstrate what they can do to help address the critical community need for affordable housing.
